Weekend Wants

My shopping wish lists have been growing at an exponential rate lately,
so I figured I should start a weekly series to organize my thoughts.
This weekend my bestie and I are heading up to Glen Ivy for a super relaxing spa getaway.
Below are some of the items that I'm planning to toss in my bag,
along with others that I wish I had in my arsenal.

One: Doesn't this pool pillow look like heaven on earth? I would not feel a bit self-concious, dragging this baby through the glitzy spa grounds.

Two: I love the soft look of this Chloe beach bag. Perfect size to fit all these other items on the list!

Three: This J Crew Panama Hat is a classic style that can be recycled for years to come.

Four: I shouldn't even have to tell you why I need this sunscreen. Prevention is key, ladies!

Five: I'm obsessed over the scent and softness that this CD balm leaves on my lips.

Six: How adorable is this Topshop bikini? The great thing about it? It's totally affordable! Definitely ordering this combo.

Seven: When I think of beach wear, the first brand that comes to mind is Missoni. The print and style of this tunic is timeless.

T-Minus 4 Days

1. Topshop Dress // 2. Giuseppe Zanotti heels // 3. Irene Neuwirth earrings // 4. The Row clutch
Another bachelorette party is on the horizon!
In about 4 days, I'll be jetting off to Vegas with seven beautiful ladies,
to celebrate one of my bestie's last weekend of singlehood.

Vegas and I have a love/hate relationship.
I always have an AMAZING time when I'm there,
but just thinking about the experience leaves me exhausted.

One of my favorite parts about taking this kind a of girl trip is that we can get all gussied up together.
If my budget allowed it,
I would be wearing the outfit above this weekend.
Nothing screams Vegas to me like some sequence,
and those shoes with the clutch?
I die.

Is anyone else planning to shake their booties in the desert this weekend?
Hollllller!

MDW

In my world,
Memorial Day Weekend officially kicks off the beginning of summer.
Suddenly,
the smell of BBQ wafts through the air in every community,
it's legal to wear white again,
and it seems like everyone decides to take road trips all at once.

I personally think that the longer days are the perfect excuse to invest in new sunnies.
I meaaaan.. we have to protect our peepers from those pesky UV rays one way or another, right?
Above are my new Guccis, that are the perfect mix of cat-eye/warfinger.
Like 'em?

One of my besties and I decided to take advantage of the long weekend,
with an impromptu trip to LA.
Let's see how much trouble we can get into in just one night...
A full post will be up within a few days,
but for now,
you can follow our adventures through my instagram photos - inlovewsandiego.
Tootles!

Hello Lover

Pretty excited about the newest addition to my shoe closet.
I've been lusting after these B Brian Atwood 'Lenoire' pumps ever since they came out,
and after realizing that they're going to match my recently purchased Maid of Honor dress to a tee,
I just had to make them mine.

Extra bonus?
They're currently on sale for 40% off.
Done and done.

This Yellow's Not So Mellow

Can anyone please explain to me what the hell happened to April?
May 1st already?
Ah well.. I suppose we're just that much closer to summer.

I decided to kick the season off early by adding some different color to my wardrobe.
I've been swooning over this Zara blazer since it started making its rounds among the blogosphere.
Isn't it perfect?
Samesies with the heels...
I know you've probably seen them everywhere lately,
but they're just so elegant and chic,
that I simply couldn't pass them up (especially at just $49 a pop!).

Can't wait to wear this combo on repeat in the next few months -
they both fit like a dreaaaam!

How Thoughtful of You

Do you spend countless hours every year,
boggling your mind about what to get your loved ones for the holidays?

Yeah,
me too.
Well this year is going to be different!
Not only am I going to finish my holiday shopping early,
all my gifts are going to be obnoxiously creative,
thoughtful,
and reasonably priced.*

Don't worry,
I've thought about you while I was perusing the limitless options online,
and here are some options
that will make your gift recipients say
"aaaawww.. you're SO thoughtful".

*wishful thinking
Give them the option to go past your face and collect $200!
I mean.. who doesn't love monopoly?
Print out some pics, and customize it for whomever you like.
Extra bonus: you can use this gift for some serious bonding time in between Christmas meals.
 ------------------------------------------------------

Alright, is there really anyone out there who is not obsessed with instagram?!
It's only the best app evah...
Choose a few of your favorite photos,
and slap 'em on a phone case for your loves.
Easy peasy.
 ------------------------------------------------------

There are sooo many wonderful options for customized gifts on Etsy,
it can be really difficult to narrow it down.
I personally love the aesthetics of these note cards.
Choose your favorite color,
and the finished product arrives at your door in an adorable gift box that will melt your girlfriends' hearts.
 ------------------------------------------------------

This gift would not have worked for me a couple of years ago,
but now that I'm married into a giant family,
{hubby is one of TEN kids, and that's just the immediate family}
this sounds like an AWESOME idea.
This will surely make my mother in-law gush with gratitude. Score!
 ------------------------------------------------------

Picture this:
You're hosting your whole family for Christmas this year,
and as the guests go to sit down at the dining table,
they see their names printed on their plates.
Now that's a special touch that you will be getting praised for, for years!

Cat's Outta The Bag

Image via Style by Kling

I suppose everyone already knows, but in case you've been under a rock for the last 48 hours, guess who the next designer to collaborate with H&M is? None other than Donatella, darling! The fall collection of womenswear, men's clothes and home items is set to hit stores on November 17th, and I couldn't be more excited. Like... I may just camp out, excited. Ok, maybe not. But I definitely know what's going on my Christmas wishlist this year!!

Birthday Month

Today officially kicks off my birthday month, and I couldn't be more excited. That's right kids, in nine short days, THIS girl will be celebrating a quarter century of life.... eeek!

Anyhoo, with my birhtday also comes summer, which gives me the perfect excuse to update my wardrobe with some bright colors. I'm definitely guilty of letting nudes and blacks take over the majority of my closet, and it's about time for me to let the light shine in. Here is a roundup of some of my seasonal favorites that have made it on my wish list.

3. Christian Louboutin Daffodil Pumps

Fingers crossed that I can cross a few items off my list in a few days!
