Spaphile "Wine & Spa" Event

Last weekend my friend and I attended Spaphile's "Wine & Spa" Event at 57 Degrees Wine Bar. Ladies, if you haven't heard of Spaphile, you should totally check it out. They work in a similar way as Groupon, by offering you the chance to purchase an unbeatable deal for one of the finest spas in your area. Anyhoo... when I got an invite to come hang out at a wine bar and enjoy complimentary pampering services from local businesses, I simply couldn't decline!

My friend and I may, or may not have, had a few too many glasses of wine, and we definitely had a great time. To read more about the event, and see another great picture of my friend and I, stop by Spaphile's blog

Counting Down

Hi friends. You're going to have to excuse my absense lately. I've been on the road for work all week, and will continue to travel for the next month... That, coupled with the fact that I have personal travel plans for the next three weekends also, seriously diminishes my blogging opportunities... But I'm trying, and I'll make every effort to upload personal photos as soon as I get a chance.

One of the things that I'm REALLY looking forward to in the upcoming weeks is a girl trip to Chicago with three of my besties. That's right, in about eight days, my sistas from other misters and I, are going to take over Lollapalooza, and I seriously cannot wait!

We've been obsessively planning out all the shinanigans that are bound to ensue, but what's been at the forefront of my mind, is.... what the heck am I going to wear?! I have spent the last couple of days browsing fashion blogs, trying to seek out street style shots from last year's event, so I can compile an outfit in my head and throw it in my suitcase next Friday. Here are some of my current faves..

So far my observations have confirmed that sandals are out of the question. Apparently boots are the only appropriate form of footwear during festivals of this magnitude. Done and done.

Has anyone been to Lolla before? Any tips for how to make the best of our time there? The girls and I will be there all day on Saturday, and I absolutely can't wait to see Lykke Li, Pretty Lights, Cee Lo Green, Ellie Goulding, and many other amazing artists!!

Oh, and I think this is a preeeetty great idea for viewing the stage from above..

Hawaii Giveaway!!

Alright. That was cruel.
I WISH I could give each and every single one of my readers a free trip to Hawaii.
Someday. Maybe. Fingers crossed.

Till then, we'll just have to fake it till we make it.
Don't hang up.

Here's the plan guys:
You enter this sweet giveaway, win these awesome tanning products, apply them as soon as you receive the package, and tell everyone you know that you just got back from a weekend in Maui.
No. Big. Deal.

Alright, so if you're still reading this it means that you're interested in winning some free swag.
And in all honesty this is the best self-tanning products I've ever used,
(and I'm a self proclaimed, sunless tanning whore).
I promise. I'm not exaggerating.
The color that I've achieved from just ONE use of the Ultra Dark Tanning Solution is the most natural bronze glow I've had since... well, since the last time I've actually visited Hawaii and spent hours upon hours roasting in the sun.
#skinsafetybad

Not sure if you recall, but a few weeks back I obnoxiously announced that I won two round-trip flights to Hawaii.... I know... you hate me.
Like I said, I WISH I could bring one of you with me, but I'm pretty sure my husband would disown me, and... well... that trip may be just a tad bit awkward for someone who doesn't know me too well..
This is what I plan on doing, on repeat, every day that I'm in Hawaii: snorkel, eat spam, snorkel, eat shaved ice, snorkel, eat.... alright, you get the drift.

Getting back to the giveaway -
Along with my flight vouchers I also received a bunch of these awesome tanning products from
and now, I'd like to pay it forward.
That means that I'd like to give one of you, a whole set of these sunless tanning goodies.

What exactly will you receive?
I'm glad you asked :)
One lucky winner will walk away with:

One Exfoliating Body Scrub
One Ultra Dark Tanning Solution
One Tan Maintaining Lotion
And a few more surprises that I'm planning to throw in.

Interested? I hope so!
Here's how to enter:

-Follow this blog with Google Friend Connect
&
-Leave your name and email in the comments section below

That's it! Giveaway will end on Monday, August 8th, and the winner will be chosen randomly!

Hello Lovers

Don't you love the feeling of finding a dollar in the pocket of jeans that you haven't worn in ages? Well, I felt about a bazillion times better than that when I was digging through my closet a few days ago and came across these babies, hidden behind a huge boot box.

Say hello to my "new, old lovers". Aren't they perfect? These beautiful Chanel sandals were given to me as  a birthday gift from my grandmother, a few years back. I know what you're thinking: "your grandma must be awesome!". That she is my friends. That she is... Can't wait to wear these beauties out again

Bittersweet

{My name is Natasha and I'm a Pott-Head. Don't judge me. I'm not ashamed.}

Last night, a few loyal Potter followers and I camped out to watch the midnight showing of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows - Part 2. The last HP movie... ever. It was awesome. Everything I imagined and more, but I still left the theater in a funky mood. You see, it's bittersweet really. A strong surge of excitement mixed with feelings of sadness about the fact that there's no more Hogwarts news to look forward to. It's the end of an era really. I suppose we all have to grow up some time...

{Like our glasses? They're preeeetty sweet.}

{my very own Mad Eye Moody}

{a line of 1,500 Pott-Heads who joined us for the midnight showing last night}

Orange Ya Glad It's Summer?

{ripe blood oranges, purchased at the farmers market this weekend}

{vintage necklace, last seen worn here}

{canvas Tory Burch beach bag}

{Oranger eau de toilette - purchased at Fragonard Parfumerie, Eze, France - perfect for summer!}

{new Revlon nail polish in Siren}

{Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - the last book of my favorite series that I'm trying to frantically re-read before the midnight movie premiere this Thursday}

Wanted to do a quick post about some of my favorite things about this season... The hidden pops of color (in my case orange), that creep up all around us during these warm summer months.

Have a great week my sweets!

Voyou, I ♥ You

The hubs and I celebrated the beginning of the weekend by meeting some friends for cocktails and dinner at Voyou, my new favorite spot! It was our first time there, and I was mesmerized by this restaurant's European vibes. We were greeted by the owner himself, who charmed us with his cute French accent, and wowed us with his ability to cover the whole joint on his own. The food was a-ma-zing, and the prices were beyond reasonable. If you haven't been to Voyou yet, I recommend you go as soon as possible. Oh, and don't forget to order the mac'n cheese; it is out of this world!
{Olives and Stuff: marinated olives with tapenade}
{Tuna Burger: ahi tuna steak, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, tapenade, served with parmesan crusted asparagus}
{Seared Scallops: paprika seared scallops with lemon aioli}
{Mac'n Cheese: with Swiss Gruyere accent}

Obsessed

Happy Friday everyone! Can't believe how fast this week flew by. What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

Currently obsessed with color blocking and envelope clutches. How perfect is my new green clutch from ASOS? I absolutely love it!

In other news... I'm in an uber great mood today. You want to know why? Do yah? Well, because I just got a phone call telling me that I won two roundtrip tickets to Hawaii!! Yahoo! Couldn't be more excited, especially since the hubs and I were already planning to make our way out there next year. Lucky us. And being that I'm a firm believer in "what goes around, comes around", I'm carrying over my good luck to you, dear readers. Stay tuned, because there will be an AWESOME giveaway on my blog in the next few weeks! Ta ta!
