ClassPass San Diego

Heading off to yoga in my brand new tank, courtesy of ClassPass
It's about that time of the year,
when clothes start getting bulkier, and foods start getting heartier.
It's usually dark by the time I get home from work,
which just makes it that much easier for me to make excuses of why I should lay on the couch as opposed to hitting the gym.

Excuses, excuses.

Excuses, gone!

I was contacted about trying out a free month of their services last week,
and I fell in love with the concept!
ClassPass is an alternative to a typical gym membership, with a lot more options!
For $99/month you are able to visit unlimited classes at multiple studios,
and let me just tell you,
This week, for example,
I'm going to pilates on Wednesday, kettlebell training on Thursday, yoga on Friday, and spin on Sunday.
I'm like a kid in a candy store!
The healthiest candy known to man, obviously.

ClassPass is brand new to San Diego,
having just launched here last week!
We are the latest city to join NYC, Boston, San Francisco, LA, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Seattle.
As a member, you are limited to 3 classes per studio per month.
But don't worry, once the next month starts, you can visit that favorite studio again 3 more times!
Other than that, the membership is unlimited
If you're curious about ClassPass but have more questions, check out their FAQ page here,
or feel free to shoot me an email.

I'll be sharing a review of my experience with ClassPass in about a month,
so stay tuned!
In the meantime, I hope you take advantage of ClassPass yourself.
Why wait till the first of the year?

In Love With..

via
-the temperatures are finally starting to drop at night, giving me all the reason I need to bring out the cozy blankets and snuggle up on the couch with my iPad for hours. Just ordered this soft beauty, (on sale for 30% at Restoration Hardware), and I cannot wait to roll around in it!
-discovering new clothing brands at affordable prices is about as satisfying as getting a good grade on a test. Consider this Australian brand (that ships world wide!) extra credit.
-last night I repinned this chicken recipe, and I'm pretty sure it visited me in my dreams. Faith makes it sound so delicious that I decided I have to try it. Like today. Like... for breakfast.
-I've been using a Clarisonic for years, but this new silicone exfoliator seems more... sanitary? Has anyone tried it yet?
-Wicked is in San Diego this month, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see it again last Thursday. One of my favorite Broadway shows ever! Toss toss.

Paris, France - Part II

I had a relapse of wanderlust this week,
which happens quite often,
and can typically be tamed by a gander through some old travel photos.
So as I was doing this last night, I realized that I didn't even finish posting about our last visit to Paris...
Woopsie.
Awe I love looking at these snapshots.. the City of Lights is just so incredibly beautiful, don't you agree?

One of my favorite areas of Paris is Montmartre.
It typifies all things quintessentially Parisian..
from terrace cafes to romping bars and clubs,
drunken can-can dancers to budding street artists and performers,
bourgeois-bohemian apartments to tiny cobblestone streets.

I suggest starting your explorations at the infamous Moulin Rouge,
and then work your way up the hill to artist studios, statues of pop stars,
and the church at the highest point of Paris - Basilica Sacré Coeur.
The views from this vantage point are incredible, and have taken my breath away each time I've visited.
