Weekend Diary

This weekend I:

- watched the red tide off the coast of La Jolla.. which is actually pretty tricky, since the tide is not actually red, but green. guess whoever came up with that name was a little color blind.. woopsie. it was gorgeous nonetheless.

- drove to Palm Spring just to have dinner. pretty impulsive decision, but sometimes a girl just needs to get away.

- did my due diligence with both sets of parents - dinner at Babe's with the in-laws, and dinner a la me with my parents last night.

- had a few martinis with some friends.. which is always a good time

- gave myself a little pat on the back after receiving an invitation to join the National Association of Professional Women. Apparently I've been selected to represent San Diego. Couldn't be more proud!
