This past weekend was a little nostalgic.. it was my mom's birthday, so we decided to spend quality family time by renting a cabin along the beatiful Lake Arrowhead. The weather was beautiful, and while I was laying there, taking in the warm sun rays and catching up on my reading, I couldn't help but think of how much the surroundings reminded me of the resort from Dirty Dancing

Lake Arrowhead is less than two hours away from San Diego, yet I somehow felt trasported through space. It was a perfect little getaway with the fam, and it left me rejuvinated and ready to take on another week at work. What did you do this weekend?
