Sac Town

Throughout the past week,
I've been showing you a few photos from our trip to Tahoe

Well,
to get there,
we flew from San Diego to Sacramento,
and rented a car for the drive up to the mountain.

On the way back,
we had a few hours to spare before the flight,
so we decided to take a little tour of the California state capitol.

Sacramento is a charming city.
Our first stop was at the capitol building,
followed by some delish Chinese food,
and a stroll through Old Sacramento.

I even had a chance to squeeze in an antique shopping spree,
where I managed to buy a twenty-volume collection of books printed in the 1800's,
as well as some glassware to complete our home bar.

It was the perfect way to end our weekend trip.
Planking the capitol. nbd.

I love going to Sacramento...my favorite place to stay is right on the river. It's so gorgeous down there.
