The Beachcomber

California sunset... It really doesn't get much better than this. This week my hubby drove up the coast and spent a night with me while I was on a business trip in Anaheim, so we decided to make it into a date night by going out for dinner at The Beachcomber, a beautiful restaurant set right on the shore of the Pacific Ocean. It was the perfect setting to watch the sun go down, and the food wasn't too shabby either. If you're ever in the Newport Beach area, I highly recommend for you to check this place out. So gorgeous.

In other news - I'm finally off to Chicago this weekend! My girls and I are planning to paint the town red and I am BEYOND excited. Tons of photos to come next week!

I LOVE CRYSTAL COVE.. but knowing the Beach Comber is there, and is so popular makes me a little sad. My parents used to take my brother and I to Crystal Cove almost every summer day when I was a child. Back then, the Beach Comber did not exist, Crystal Cove was secluded, and there were very few locals who made the trek down the walking path to the cove. Le sigh :)

Either way, it's beautiful there :) Looks like you enjoyed it.
